Reconciliation Week is celebrated across Australia each year between 27 May and
3 June. The dates commemorate two significant milestones in the reconciliation journey - the anniversaries of the successful 1967 referendum and the High Court Mabo decision.
As a school, we will also celebrate with a Mufti Day on Friday, 29 May. Children will be encouraged to wear black, red and yellow clothing. Throughout Reconciliation Week, the children will engage in a variety of activities which help them to focus on their relationships with Indigenous and Torres Strait Island peoples. There is no cost attached to this Mufti Day.
