St Peter’s is and has always been an excellent preparatory school, purposefully Primary and unashamedly Christian. In June 2021, we have announced the exciting evolution of our school. We will become St Peter's Anglican Grammar from 2022 as we commence offering secondary education alongside our primary offering.
We are equally excited to announce the commencement of St Peter's Heart, as small Special school offering quality Christian education to students with moderate intellectual disability and/ or moderate Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The future is very bright for St Peter's. Our traditions are long standing and are built on excellence. Almost 40 years of providing quality Christian Education in the Macarthur area. St Peter’s and the Macarthur region are synonymous.
Classes are held in purpose designed learning spaces with options for either 2 or 3 programmes.
Developing students through engaging and innovative teaching and learning across all key learning areas.
Students will learn in a balance of disciplinary, interdisciplinary, collaborative and independent opportunities.
The Programme is based on extensive research into how children aged 3–12 best learn, and is designed around the concept of guided inquiry. Throughout the inquiry process, students learn, and continue to build upon, the knowledge, skills and attitudes required for independent learning. This programme also encourages students to become age appropriate, global citizens who desire to act in making our world a better place.
We believe in the truths of the Bible and are keen to share the gift of Jesus with all in our school community. St Peter’s shares a site with St Peter’s Anglican Church, Campbelltown and we have always had a strong connection and partnership with the local church. Some of the ministry team serve the school community as part of our chaplaincy team.
