ANGLICAN GRAMMAR
Mr Brendan Gorman has been the Headmaster of St Peter’s since the commencement of the 2014 academic year. Prior to his appointment, he held senior leadership positions at a number of schools including St Paul’s Grammar School and Nepean Christian School.
Mr Gorman is a member of the Independent Primary School Heads of Australia (IPSHA) and serves on the NSW Branch Executive, Association Heads of Independent Schools of Australia (AHISA) and serves on the AHISA Academic Committee and is a member of the International Baccalaureate (IBO) Educator Network. He is also a member of the Australian Council for Educational Leaders and Australian College of Educators.
Mr Gorman has a passion for authentic inquiry learning, meaningful assessment, high academic standards, learning environments, digital technologies and a culture of respect and belonging.
Mr Andrew Raft is the Head of the St Peter's Preparatory School in 2022. He is a passionate educator and brings a wealth of experience in Christian Education within the South West.
Mr Raft joined the St Peter’s team in 2018 and has served in various roles including The Director of Primary and Head of Students. Prior to his appointment at St Peter's, Mr Raft taught at Thomas Hassall Anglican where he led teams across both Middle and Upper Primary.
Mr Raft is focused on student wellbeing and promoting an environment where all are known, valued and encouraged.
Mr Raft is a relational leader who seeks to develop and maintain strong community partnerships. He is committed to the Christian mission of St Peter's and providing students with a greater understanding of the hope, truth and love of Jesus.
Mr Anthony Kelshaw is the inaugural Head of the Middle School starting at St Peter's in Term 4, 2021. Prior to his appointment, he held leadership positions at Mamre Anglican School and St. Paul's Grammar School.
Mr Kelshaw has extensive experience in leading both pastoral care and curriculum initiatives in a variety of different educational settings including across a 3 program International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. He has been an IB educator for over 17 years and has worked for the IB as a Middle Year Programme Health and Physical Education moderator. His commitment to high academic standards and opportunities for students saw him introduce the IB Diploma Sports, Exercise and Health Science course in a previous school, resulting in significant student success.
Mr Kelshaw is a people leader who is committed to developing high quality relationships in order to support strong learning opportunities. He is an active adventurer and values the creation of learning opportunities outside the classroom through camps and excursions. Most of all, Mr Kelshaw is keen to see students belong in a community that cares for them in order that they might flourish into the people that God has created them to be.
